Military Double-point Tactical Gun Sling

A: Before installation, please be sure to read the instruction manuals for both your rifle and the sling. The basic steps are as follows:
• Identify the connection point: Check if your rifle has standard sling swivel slots. If not, you may need to install an adapter.
• Connect: Connect the hooks or quick-release clips at both ends of the sling to the swivel slots.
• Length adjustment: The most crucial adjustment is the firing length. Assume a standard firing position with the rifle shouldered, then adjust the sling so that while maintaining a stable shoulder position, you can extend your trigger-free hand forward and tighten the sling, forming a stable triangular support. Practice repeatedly and fine-tune until you reach the most comfortable and stable length.

A: There are two main types of fasteners, differing in reliability and application:
• Military-grade quick-release hook: This is a metal hook that releases by pressing. Its advantages include rapid one-handed release (e.g., in an emergency weapon disposal), and a simple, extremely robust structure. The disadvantage is that improper operation may cause it to unintentionally snag on other webbing, leading to accidental opening.
• Spring-loaded quick-release buckle: Similar to backpack buckles, it requires pinching both sides simultaneously to open. Its advantages include higher security against accidental opening and a more secure connection, but unlocking requires both hands and is slightly slower.
• Choice: For ultimate reliability and tactical speed, choose the military-grade quick-release hook; for absolute security and everyday convenience, choose the spring-loaded quick-release buckle.
