Purpose and Characteristics

   
The gas mask is a kind of respiratory protective equipment used by the synthetic . It is used to protect the face, eyes and respiratory tract of personnel from toxic and radioactive contamination when being attacked by chemical weapons and performing tasks in toxic and radioactive areas. It can also be used in industrial protection and other places. However, it is prohibited to use it in oxygen and carbon monoxide environment.
   
The sealing frame of the mask is arc-shaped and anti-folded, which is comfortable to wear and easy to be airtight. The mask material has excellent resistance to the penetration of poison droplets and washability. The outer edge of the cover body has a convex edge, which can match with the anti-virus head cover.
   
The six headbands can be adjusted at will, but they must be properly tightened.
The two round eyelets of the mask can match the optical equipment. The lens is made of optical plastic, and the surface is coated with wear-resistant coating, which has good optical properties, impact resistance and friction resistance.

Pre-use Inspection

Sealing Test

Negative Pressure Test

After putting on the mask, block the air inlet of the filter cartridge with your hand and inhale gently. The mask should slightly collapse without leakage.

Positive Pressure Test

Block the exhalation valve and exhale gently. The mask should slightly inflate without leakage.

Check Expiry Date

The filter cartridge typically has a lifespan of 2-3 years. Once opened, it must be sealed and stored.

Fitness

Facial hair and scars may affect the seal. Ensure the mask fits snugly against your face.

Wearing Procedure

Adjust the head strap to its maximum position. Hold the mask with both hands and apply pressure from bottom to top to fit your face. Tighten the neck strap first, then the top head strap.

Adjust until comfortable and without pressure, then perform a sealing test.

Removal and Cleaning

Remove the mask in a safe area, avoiding contact with contaminated outer surfaces.

Wipe the mask with a neutral detergent. The filter cartridge cannot be washed and must be disposed of separately.

Air dry naturally and store in a sealed container, away from high temperatures and chemicals.

Important Precautions

Timely Replacement

Replace immediately if an unusual odor develops, breathing difficulties occur, or the filter cartridge reaches the end of its lifespan.

Environmental Limitations

Filter masks cannot be used in oxygen-deficient environments (such as confined spaces).

Compatibility

Ensure the filter cartridge matches the mask model; different brands may not be compatible.

Physical Limitations

Patients with cardiopulmonary diseases should use with caution, especially as self-contained masks may increase respiratory burden.
